There are many different opportunities for adults to experience personal and spiritual growth here at First United Methodist Church.
We offer adult discipleship, recreation and the opportunity for all to find their own ministries, so that they can personally experience serving Christ.
Adult Sunday School classes meet all year long on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. See the Sunday School Directory for a list of currently offered classes.
We offer several other short-term Bible studies throughout the year on various topics. Information on current Bible studies can be found here on the web, and in our Sunday bulletins.
United Methodist Women (UMW) and United Methodist Men (UMM) host and organize many different fundraisers, outreach missions, and church events throughout the year.

The FUMC Youth Ministry is for middle school and high school students. These years can be some of the hardest to get through and, yet,
some of the most vital years for building a faith that lasts and friendships that matter. Our ministry exists to EXPOSE students to God's love and truth,
to CONNECT them with fellow Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, to challenge them to DISCOVER their ministry, and to HONOR God with their lives.
Youth Sunday School begins at 9:30am. See our Sunday School Directory for more information. Our UMYF program for youth is held Sunday nights (5:30 - 7:00pm)
in the Family Life Center during the school year. The Bridge Program is also available for 4th and 5th Graders during this time. For more information regarding
events and services for youth at First UMC, please visit our Facebook page or find us on Twitter.
"How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.”
Psalm 119:9, NIV
We are honored to be able to assist parents in raising their children in the Christian faith at First UMC.
One of the ways that we do this each week is with Children's Sunday School, beginning at 9:45am. See our
Sunday School Directory for more information. A nursery is available for newborns and toddlers.
FUMC is also home to a weekday preschool program for children ages 2 - 4, as well as an afterschool “Wonderful Wednesday” program for children in elementary school (K - 5th Grade).
During the Summer, FUMC hosts Vacation Bible School and our Summer Camp programs for children attending elementary school.
For information regarding this year’s Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, or other seasonal programs, please visit our Facebook page or find us on Twitter.
